The Bowen Technique has been described as one of the most significant innovations in manipulative therapy this century. Pioneered in the 50s by Tom Bowen in Australia,
it was brought to Europe in 1993 where it has gained an impressive reputation amongst health professions such as physiotherapists, osteopaths and
G.P.s.
Rita
is a trained nurse, sports massage therapist, and Bowen Technique practitioner with additional training in Specific Myofascial Adhesion Release Technique (SMART) Bowen, Neurostructural lntegration Technique
(NST) and Light Fascia Work. She has also been accepted as a member of the Bowen Therapists European Register since 1999.
She combines her 20 years experience in orthodox medicine and holistic therapies to tailor the treatment to the individual’s need.
Rita practices the Bowen Technique in Lewes, East Sussex.
